At Backroom Supply Co., we work to represent our products as accurately as reasonably possible. However, our products are made to order, and slight variations are a normal part of apparel and merchandise production.
In other words: your shirt should look like the shirt you ordered—but we’re making physical products, not cloning pixels.
Product Images & Mockups
Product images displayed on the Backroom Supply Co. website may include digital mockups intended to demonstrate the approximate appearance of the finished product.
Mockups are provided for illustrative purposes.
The actual product may vary slightly from the digital representation in areas such as:
- Print size
- Print placement
- Garment color
- Image positioning
- Product proportions
- Texture
- Lighting and appearance
These normal variations do not necessarily indicate that a product is defective or incorrect.
Garment Colors
We make reasonable efforts to accurately represent available garment colors.
However, colors displayed on your screen may differ from the physical product because of:
- Monitor or device settings
- Screen brightness
- Photography and lighting
- Manufacturing variations
- Fabric composition
- Dye lots
- Garment style
Two garments identified as the same or similar color may also have minor differences between manufacturers, styles, sizes, or production batches.
Printing
Printed products may have minor variations resulting from the production process.
These can include slight differences in:
- Print positioning
- Print dimensions
- Color appearance
- Ink or transfer appearance
- Texture
- Alignment
Print placement shown in product mockups is approximate unless otherwise stated.
We make reasonable efforts to produce products consistently, but minor production variations are not considered defects.
Print Size & Garment Size
Artwork may appear proportionally different depending on the size of the garment.
For example, the same print dimensions may appear larger on a Small shirt and smaller on a 3XL shirt.
Where appropriate, print dimensions may also be adjusted based on garment size or production requirements.
Sizing & Fit
Customers are responsible for selecting the appropriate garment size.
Sizing can vary between manufacturers, garment styles, and product lines.
Please review available sizing information before placing your order.
Descriptions such as “unisex,” “classic fit,” “relaxed fit,” or similar terms describe general garment characteristics and do not guarantee a particular fit for every individual.
Ordering an incorrect size or disliking the fit of a correctly supplied product does not qualify a made-to-order item for a return or exchange.
Please see our Returns, Exchanges & Refunds Policy for additional information.
Drinkware & Other Products
The same general principles regarding digital mockups, color representation, design placement, and production variations may apply to drinkware and other merchandise sold by Backroom Supply Co.
Design size and placement may vary slightly depending on the shape, dimensions, and printable area of the product.
Product Care
Customers should follow any care instructions provided with or displayed for a product.
Improper washing, drying, ironing, cleaning, storage, or other care may damage garments, prints, or other merchandise.
Damage resulting from improper care is not considered a manufacturing defect.
For printed apparel, unless different instructions are provided for a particular product, we generally recommend:
- Wash inside out
- Machine wash cold
- Use mild detergent
- Avoid bleach
- Do not iron directly over the printed design
- Tumble dry low or hang dry when possible
Following proper care instructions can help extend the life of your garment and printed design.
Normal Wear & Tear
Products naturally experience wear over time.
Fading, fabric wear, print wear, scratches, discoloration, or other deterioration resulting from ordinary use, repeated washing, improper care, or age is not considered a product defect.
Handmade & Made-to-Order Nature
Many Backroom Supply Co. products involve hands-on production and are created specifically for each order.
Minor differences between individual products are normal and can be part of the made-to-order production process.
Defective or Incorrect Products
Normal production variations are different from genuine defects.
If your product arrives damaged, significantly misprinted, defective, or materially different from what you ordered, please contact Backroom Supply Co. within 7 days of delivery.
We may request photographs showing the issue so we can evaluate the problem.
Please see our Returns, Exchanges & Refunds Policy for complete information.
